The Federal Government has disbursed over ₦22 billion to the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to enhance infrastructure in public schools and improve teacher quality across the country. Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, made the disclosure in Abuja during the official launch of the School-Based Management Committee–School Improvement Programme (SBMC-SIP) and the Teacher Professional Development (TPD) Programme.
