Federal Government Revokes Housing Allocations Over Unpaid Balances

The Federal Government has revoked the Offer of Provisional Allocation of Houses under the National Housing Programme for recipients who failed to meet the full payment deadline.

In a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, through the Director of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Badamasi Haiba, the government emphasized that the revocation applies strictly to individuals who did not complete their payments within the required 90-day period, including an additional eight-week grace period.

The Ministry has published the full list of affected individuals on its official website. However, those who successfully finalized their payments on or before February 28, 2025, remain unaffected.

The government has urged all verified beneficiaries to collect their Letters of Allocation from the Ministry and take immediate possession of their homes.
