President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed six Zonal Coordinators to lead the Renewed Hope Initiative Committees, a key structure designed to advance his administration’s political, economic and social development agenda across the country.
In the South-East, former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim will serve as zonal coordinator. Former Bauchi State governor Isa Yuguda will oversee the North-East, while former Katsina State governor Aminu Bello Masari will lead the North-West zone.
For the South-South, former Delta State governor Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has been appointed coordinator, with Oladipupo Oyinbande taking charge of the South-West. Former Nasarawa State governor Umar Tanko Al-Makura will coordinate the North-Central zone.
The appointments were unveiled during the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Initiative Committees for all six geopolitical zones.
The event, chaired by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, signaled a significant step in expanding the implementation of President Tinubu’s national development blueprint.
The Renewed Hope Initiative is expected to drive regional engagements, strengthen grassroots mobilization and coordinate socio-economic interventions in line with the President’s broader vision for national renewal and inclusive growth.
