Rap icon Eminem has stepped into a brand-new role — grandfather. His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, announced the birth of her first child, a son named Elliot Marshall McClintock, on Instagram Friday, April 4.

“Happy due date // 3 weeks earthside little e,” Hailie wrote alongside a heartwarming photo carousel of her newborn, who arrived on March 14. The announcement marked a milestone moment not only for Hailie but also for her father, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

Hailie, 28, is a popular social media influencer and one of Eminem’s three children with ex-wife Kim Scott. She married longtime partner Evan McClintock in May 2023, after dating since 2016.

Fans first got wind of Hailie’s pregnancy in a unique and sentimental way — through a music video from Eminem himself. In the video, Hailie presented her father with a custom Detroit Lions jersey featuring the word “Grandpa” on the back, accompanied by a baby sonogram, visibly touching the rap legend.

The family celebrated her wedding last year surrounded by close friends and music industry icons, including 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and Jimmy Iovine. Now, the Mathers family welcomes a new generation — and it’s safe to say little Elliot is in for a lifetime of love (and probably some epic lullabies).
