In a gesture symbolizing solidarity and social inclusion, Ambassador Gana presented a donation of essential food items and educational materials to the school, which serves children with disabilities. The visit forms part of ECOWAS’s wider commitment to promoting inclusive development and supporting vulnerable communities across West Africa.

Mr. Tete also used the occasion to encourage parents of children with disabilities to emulate ECOWAS’s example by actively engaging with the school and playing a more significant role in their children’s education and social development.

Ambassador Gana reiterated ECOWAS’s dedication to fostering a region where no citizen is left behind, emphasizing the organisation’s enduring mission of inclusive growth and community solidarity. “It is our collective duty to ensure that every child, irrespective of ability, finds a meaningful place and role in the West African community,” he stated.
