NiDCOM Celebrates Stella Okuzu’s Appointment as Royal African Director

The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Stella Okuzu on her recent appointment as the Interim Director of the Royal African Society (RAS), United Kingdom.
In a statement issued by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Head of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols at NiDCOM, Dabiri-Erewa praised the appointment as both timely and well-deserved. She commended Okuzu’s extensive track record in banking, finance, consultancy, and education — a career spanning more than 20 years.
Ms. Okuzu currently serves as the Founder and CEO of EDD Finance & Consulting Limited. Her career includes senior leadership roles such as Head of Personal and Business Banking at FCMB (UK) Ltd, Non-Executive Director at FastCredit Limited, and Lecturer in Global Strategy and Sustainability at BPP University, London.
According to Dabiri-Erewa, the appointment highlights Okuzu’s dedication to advancing African enterprise, financial inclusion, and fostering cross-border partnerships.
“Stella Okuzu’s appointment is yet another shining example of the global excellence being demonstrated by Nigerians in the diaspora,” Dabiri-Erewa said. “Her achievements continue to bring pride to the nation.”
