Nollywood actor Ikechukwu Nweke has revealed that he is battling colon cancer and has spent more than ₦15 million on medical treatment since he was diagnosed in 2025.
The actor made the disclosure while appealing to Nigerians for financial assistance to help cover the cost of his ongoing treatment.
Nweke also expressed gratitude to colleagues in the Nigerian film industry who have stood by him during his health challenge. He specifically thanked Destiny Etiko, Uche Nancy, Lizzy Gold and Ebele Okaro for their financial and emotional support throughout his cancer journey.
He appealed to members of the public to assist him as he continues treatment and works toward recovery.
