AAAU Signs MOU with ATOM Aviation Training Services, Tours Facility

The African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) in Abuja has entered into a strategic partnership with ATOM Aviation Training Services, a renowned aviation training institution based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 12, 2024.

The signing ceremony brought together key representatives from both institutions. The ATOM delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Mohammed Al-Memari, included Quality Manager Raed Al Batayneh and Training Manager Ibrahim Al Hazaimeh. The AAAU team was represented by Registrar Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, Director of Professional Training Programmes Mr. Aliyu Tata Azare, Public Relations Officer Ms. Sa’adatu Usman, and Mr. Anas Aliyu.

Discussions during the meeting focused on mutual resource sharing and collaborative training initiatives aimed at elevating aviation education standards. Following the formal agreement, the AAAU delegation was given an extensive tour of ATOM’s cutting-edge facilities, highlighting its advanced training equipment and modern infrastructure.

This partnership is set to enhance professional development and training opportunities for aviation personnel, reinforcing efforts to advance the global aviation industry through knowledge exchange and technological integration.
