  1. The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the Physical Screening and Document Verification stage for candidates participating in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
The Board said the exercise is specifically for applicants who sat for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 and successfully progressed to the next phase of the recruitment process.
According to a statement issued by the CDCFIB, shortlisted candidates are expected to access the recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to check their application status and complete the required procedures ahead of the screening exercise.
Applicants have been advised to log into the portal using their application numbers. Successful candidates will be required to upload relevant credentials, select their preferred screening dates, choose screening venues, and carefully follow all instructions provided on the platform.
The Board emphasized that the physical screening and document verification exercise is a critical stage in the recruitment process and urged candidates to ensure that all submitted information and documents are accurate and authentic.
CDCFIB also warned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters, fake recruitment messages, unauthorized links, and individuals claiming to act on behalf of the Board. It stressed that all official information regarding the recruitment exercise will only be communicated through the approved recruitment portal and verified communication channels.
The Board urged candidates to remain vigilant, rely solely on official sources for updates, and comply with all guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent recruitment process.
