Toyosi Etim-Effiong, wife of Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, has shared candid views on marriage and infidelity, saying cheating is not necessarily a dealbreaker for her.
Speaking on the Toke Moments podcast, Toyosi revealed that rather than ending a marriage over infidelity, she chooses to rely on faith, prayer, and spiritual support.
She disclosed that she even created a prayer group called the Wives of Entertainers Prayer Group, where members pray for their husbands and their marriages.
“Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me,” she said, explaining that her approach is rooted in maintaining the family unit and seeking divine guidance rather than immediate separation.
Toyosi also emphasized the importance of love, commitment, and resilience in marriage, noting that sustaining a long-term relationship requires understanding, forgiveness, and intentional communication between partners.
Her remarks have generated widespread reactions online, with many debating the role of faith, forgiveness, and personal boundaries in navigating infidelity within marriage.
The discussion has further highlighted her unconventional yet faith-driven perspective on marital challenges.
