As Nigeria joins the world to commemorate the International Day of Democracy, Nigerians have been advised to avoid political intolerant as it constitute a cog in the wheel of democratic governance.

Kaloma Mustapha gave the advice during an event by the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN to commemorate the day.
Professor Kari pointed out that it would be difficult to rig elections with the new electoral act, and urged youths to contribute meaningfully in elections.
The Executive Director, Alliance for Policy Development and Advocacy, Mr. Bright Nwogwu, stressed that youths must not derail the electoral process through violence.
A Guest Speaker at the event, Mr Koloma Mustapha advised youths to avoid fake news and divisive narratives that would not benefit the nation.
The President of the National Youth Council Of Nigeria said the event was to sensitize youth leaders on the need for unity, development and being patriotic to the nation.
The theme of the event is: “The Importance of Political Tolerance in Sustaining Democracy: Challenges and Way Forward “.
