Northern Youth Condemn Attack on APC Chairman, Support Tinubu’s Planned Visit to Benue

A coalition of northern youths under the Aegis of Arewa Youth for Peaceful Coexistence has strongly condemned the recent attack on the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, during the North-East Zonal Stakeholders Meeting held in Gombe.

In a statement by the FCT Coordinator of the Group, Honorable Ogah Mark Okpanachi, the group also expressed deep concern over the wave of killings and arrests in Benue State, describing the continuous loss of innocent lives as “painful and completely unacceptable.”

The youth body commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for planning a visit to Benue to sympathise with affected communities.

According to the group, the President’s decision to personally visit the state reflects a leadership style rooted in empathy, responsibility, and a commitment to peace and justice.
