Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala is training individually after undergoing medical tests following his collapse during Saturday’s 3-1 friendly win over RB Leipzig.

The 23-year-old Germany international fell to the pitch at the end of the match and required medical attention amid hot conditions in Munich, where temperatures rose above 30 degrees Celsius.

According to AFP sports subsidiary SID, Musiala complained of dizziness, circulatory problems and feeling feverish after the match.

The former Chelsea academy player did not take part in Bayern Munich’s open training session in Munich on Monday but completed an individual training session at the club’s Saebener Strasse training ground earlier in the day.

German media reports suggest Musiala could return to team training this week ahead of Saturday’s Supercup clash against Borussia Dortmund.

Musiala missed the first six months of the 2025-26 season after suffering a broken ankle at the FIFA Club World Cup. He returned to the Germany squad for the 2026 World Cup, where the team were eliminated by Paraguay in the last-32 stage.
