Super Falcons star and Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been crowned the 2025 Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, marking her third consecutive win of the prestigious award.
The announcement was made at the 2025 award ceremony held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat, Morocco.
Nnadozie, aged 24, beat Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to retain her title, further cementing her status as Africa’s top female goalkeeper.
Her exceptional performances for both club and country made her the clear favourite. During her time at Paris FC, she lifted the Coupe de France Féminine and was instrumental in the Super Falcons’ record 10th WAFCON title, where she kept four clean sheets and won the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament award.
Since signing with Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League, Nnadozie has continued to impress, earning Player of the Match on her debut, the WSL Save of the Month, and the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month honors.
Her consistent excellence places her firmly among the continent’s most celebrated footballers.
