NNPC Retail Limited (NRL) has reaffirmed its commitment to gender inclusivity and professional empowerment with the successful hosting of She-Fix 2025, an event dedicated to advancing women’s roles in the automotive, technical, and energy sectors. Held at The Stable Center, Surulere, Lagos, the landmark initiative attracted over 300 participants, celebrating women’s achievements and contributions as part of this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations.

With the theme “Driving Diversity and Powering Progress,” She-Fix 2025 underscored the vital role women play in fostering innovation, economic development, and national growth. Attendees engaged in hands-on training, insightful discussions, and technical demonstrations, highlighting the increasing impact of women in traditionally male-dominated industries.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of female mechanics, who received awards for their excellence and dedication to the trade. Speaking at the event, Mr. Huub Stokman, Managing Director of NNPC Retail Ltd., emphasized the program’s transformative vision:

“She-Fix 2025 is more than an event—it is a movement dedicated to amplifying women’s voices and their invaluable contributions across various sectors.”

Similarly, Mr. Cyprian Onwuegbu, Senior Business Adviser representing NNPC Limited’s Executive Vice President, Downstream, reiterated the company’s commitment to diversity:

“NNPC is steadfast in fostering an equitable and inclusive workplace. She-Fix is a testament to our dedication to ensuring women have the opportunities they deserve in our industry.”

Participants took part in Car Care 101 sessions, live car diagnostics, and a bustling marketplace showcasing female-led businesses. In line with its support for women in the energy sector, NNPC Retail also offered special discounts on Oleum Lubricants and LPG NR-GAS.

A standout moment was the panel session, “Unleashing the Potential of Women for a Stronger Nation,” where industry leaders and policymakers shared strategies to eliminate workplace barriers, promote leadership, and create inclusive professional environments.

Beyond technical sessions, She-Fix 2025 also featured live entertainment, music performances, interactive games, and networking opportunities. The spin-the-wheel challenge added excitement, connecting attendees with mentorship and career development prospects.
