Reality star and business mogul Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from law school, marking a major milestone in her six-year legal journey.

Kim Kardashian is celebrating a hard-earned achievement this week, as she officially graduated from law school after dedicating six years to an intensive legal apprenticeship program in California. The 44-year-old SKIMS founder commemorated the moment with a private backyard commencement ceremony at her Beverly Hills home.

Kardashian shared the news on Wednesday, May 21, via a series of Instagram Stories, offering fans and followers a behind-the-scenes look at her graduation festivities. Among the congratulatory messages she received was a personal note from U.S. First Daughter Ivanka Trump.

“All of you guys have been on this journey with me,” Kardashian said emotionally while addressing loved ones at the podium during the celebration.

The media personality first revealed her legal ambitions in 2019, inspired by her work in criminal justice reform. Although she never completed a traditional college degree, Kardashian took advantage of California’s legal apprenticeship program — a rare route that allows individuals to study under the guidance of licensed attorneys and eventually qualify for the state bar exam without attending a formal law school.

Jessica Jackson, one of Kardashian’s mentors and a prominent human rights attorney, praised her determination and work ethic during the event.

“Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice,” Jackson remarked. “No law school lectures, no shortcuts — just pure dedication. She committed 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year, for six consecutive years. That’s 5,184 hours of legal study while raising four children, running businesses, filming TV shows, and advocating in courtrooms.”

Kardashian previously made headlines in December 2021 when she successfully passed California’s First-Year Law Students’ Examination, known as the “baby bar,” after four attempts.

While this graduation marks a significant step in her legal career, Kardashian still has one major hurdle ahead: passing the California Bar Exam to become a licensed attorney in the state.
