The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all candidates who uploaded their O’Level results before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) to revisit accredited centres and re-upload their results.
In a bulletin shared on its official X handle on Monday, the examination body explained that all earlier uploads had been cleared from its system to prevent errors in the admission process.
According to JAMB, candidates who wrote the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with awaiting results must now upload their final WAEC results immediately. The board emphasized that even if the re-uploaded results are the same as previously uploaded ones, the new directive must be strictly followed.
Failure to comply, JAMB warned, could render candidates ineligible for admission consideration during the ongoing process.
“Please re-upload your 2025 SSCE result to the JAMB portal without delay,” the statement urged.
The directive has sparked mixed reactions among candidates, particularly those who had earlier rushed to upload their results in line with admission requirements. Responding to a query from an X user who sought clarification on previously uploaded results, JAMB advised: “You’re advised to please visit any of our accredited facilities to verify your result.”
With this new policy, candidates nationwide are now expected to promptly return to accredited JAMB centres to re-upload their final WAEC results, ensuring a smooth and transparent admission process.
