Nigerian actor Kunle Remi and his wife Tiwi have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Eemi Oluwa, after an emotional and faith-testing journey to parenthood.
The couple revealed that their path to welcoming their daughter was filled with challenges, including an unexpected medical discovery that led to Tiwi being placed on complete bed rest. Despite their demanding schedules and time apart, they remained steadfast in their faith.
Kunle shared their story on Instagram, revealing that baby Eemi spent 80 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The actor described those weeks as a profound testament to God’s unwavering faithfulness.
“From an unsettling medical discovery to complete bed rest, from waiting, countless NICU visits, and clinging to God for 11 weeks and 3 days—our story is living proof that God is unfailing,” he wrote.
The couple expressed deep gratitude, calling their daughter a “wonder” and a “breath of God.” They hope that by sharing their experience, they can inspire and encourage others facing similar challenges.
