Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has responded publicly after being mentioned in the ongoing social media dispute between Verydarkman and King Mitchy.
The controversy began when VeryDarkMan accused King Mitchy of being used as a political tool to allegedly polish the image of the current administration.
In a separate video, he further alleged that Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy were threatening his life.
Reacting through his Instagram Story, Seyi Tinubu dismissed the claims as false and unfounded. He stated that he had met King Mitchy only once at a public event attended by several individuals.
According to him, during that encounter, he offered financial support toward her non-governmental organisation’s activities, noting that he regularly supports youth-focused initiatives and empowerment programmes across the country.
He maintained that there was no private meeting, secret arrangement, or any form of misconduct between them. Seyi also said he would not allow himself to be drawn into narratives built on speculation or misinformation.
Emphasising that supporting charitable causes should not be misconstrued, he added that repeating false allegations does not make them true.
He called for calm and responsible public discourse, reiterating his commitment to transparency and service to Nigerians.
