Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.
Turkish football club Galatasaray announced the birth through its official social media accounts.
In a congratulatory message shared on its X account, the club said: “Our Football A Team player Victor Osimhen and Stefanie have welcomed a baby girl into the world.
“We congratulate the couple Victor and Stefanie; we wish their newborn baby Liora Audrey a long, healthy, and happy life!”
The newborn is the couple’s second child. They already have a daughter, Hailey.
The arrival of the baby comes weeks after reports that Ladewig was involved in a minor road accident in Istanbul earlier this month while pregnant. She reportedly escaped without injuries.
Osimhen, 27, currently plays for Galatasaray, where he has maintained strong form this season.
The Nigerian international is expected to rejoin his teammates ahead of the club’s upcoming Turkish Süper Lig fixture against Konyaspor.
The announcement has attracted congratulatory messages from football fans and supporters in Nigeria and Turkey.
