The Federal Government has announced that another batch of 65 Nigerians will return to the country from South Africa on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, saying the returnees are being sponsored by private individuals.
According to the ministry, the Nigerians will depart the O. R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, at 3:30 p.m. local time aboard a South African Airways flight.
They are expected to arrive at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 8:45 p.m. the same day.
The ministry expressed appreciation to the private individuals sponsoring the returnees and other stakeholders supporting the repatriation process.
It also assured that relevant government agencies would continue to coordinate efforts to ensure the safe return of Nigerians to the country.
