Nigerian rapper Odumodu Blvck has revealed that he would choose an Arsenal Premier League title over winning a Grammy Award.
Speaking during an interview on Capital XTRA, the outspoken Arsenal supporter explained how much winning the league would mean to him, recalling the club’s previous title race with Manchester City.
He said he would gladly sacrifice the opportunity to win a Grammy if it meant seeing Arsenal lift the Premier League trophy.
“If you gave me the opportunity to win a Grammy Award, or let Arsenal win that Premier League, I would have chosen that Premier League. Take it to the bank,” he said.
The rapper further emphasised his loyalty to Arsenal with a hypothetical scenario involving a controversial goal in the club’s title race.
He said he would still choose Arsenal winning the league over receiving music’s most prestigious award.
“If I had the chance to win a Grammy Award and they say, ‘Let that West Ham goal count,’ or whatever, let them cancel that West Ham goal for Arsenal to win the league, which one would you pick? I would pick that league, ahead of the Grammy Award,” he said.
