The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament has invited suppliers, contractors, service providers and consultants to register for inclusion in its vendor database ahead of future procurement opportunities.AS) Parliament has invited suppliers, contractors, service providers and consultants to register for inclusion in its vendor database ahead of future procurement opportunities.
The invitation, contained in a Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) dated 30 October 2026, also targets individual consultants and small and medium-sized businesses interested in providing goods, works and services to the regional parliament.
According to the notice, the registration aims to establish an updated database of potential vendors to meet the institution’s future procurement needs.
The parliament has identified four major registration categories: goods, works, non-consultancy services and consultancy services.
The goods category covers the supply of equipment, office furniture, ICT products, medical supplies, vehicles, safety equipment, library materials, solar and renewable energy products, among others.
The works category includes civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and masonry projects, as well as repairs and maintenance of air conditioners, generators and other facilities.
Non-consultancy services cover catering, vehicle hire and maintenance, travel arrangements, printing, advertising, courier services, conference facilities and other operational services.
Meanwhile, consultancy services include professional and technical assignments in areas such as auditing, administration, agriculture, economics, finance, human resources, information technology, legal affairs, research and parliamentary affairs.
Interested applicants are required to select one main registration category and indicate all relevant areas of specialisation on the official vendor registration form.
The parliament also requires applicants to submit a completed registration form, company profile or consultant’s curriculum vitae, evidence of legal registration or professional status, where applicable, and valid contact details.
Business applicants must provide tax clearance documents for 2023, 2024 and 2025, while applicants are also required to present evidence of at least three relevant assignments completed within the last five years.
Such evidence may include contracts, completion certificates or verifiable client references.
The notice states that individual consultants must attach copies of relevant professional qualifications and identify assignments they have completed.
ECOWAS Parliament says it will conduct an administrative review of applications to ensure that registration forms are complete and applicants have selected the appropriate categories and provided the required supporting documents.
However, the parliament clarifies that registration does not constitute a contract, guarantee prequalification for every procurement exercise or assure applicants of an invitation or contract award.
Applications must be submitted electronically to the appropriate email address based on the selected registration category, with a copy to procurement@parl.ecowas.int.
The deadline for submission is 20 November 2026 at 5:00 p.m. (Nigeria time).
Physical submissions will not be accepted.
Applicants seeking further clarification can contact the procurement office through procurement@parl.ecowas.int during official working hours, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
