Authorities Nab Siblings Behind N2.2 Million Ransom Scheme, Arms Suppliers Identified
Authorities in Quan Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State have arrested two brothers, Haruna and Usman Mohammed, for allegedly kidnapping Muhammad Sani Juli and extorting a ransom of ₦2.2 million. Further investigations revealed that Usman Mohammed was also involved in armed attacks on travelers along Juku Road in Nasarawa State. He confessed that their criminal operations were carried out using AK-47 rifles allegedly supplied by two individuals, identified as Umar and Hidi, from Assakio, Nasarawa State.
