Senator Seizure
Officials of the Execution Unit of the Federal Capital Territory High Court Abuja and the Nigeria Police Force have seized vehicles belonging to Senator Nnamdi Andy Uba in his Abuja residence over a Fifty Million Naira loan he took from a business man, Prince Arthur Eze.
The execution and seizure of the said properties of Senator Andy Uba, a former Governorship Candidate of the all Progressives Congress APC in Anambra state follows the judgment of an Anambra State High Court delivered on the 6th of March, 2017 presided over by Justice Mbonu Nwenyi of the Aguata Judicial Division Ekwulobia.
In his ruling, the judge held that Senator Andy Uba as the defendant in the case has not denied that he received the friendly interest free loan from the plaintiff.
He further held that having gone through the statement of defence of the defendant, has has not disclosed any good defence to the suit and in such circumstance the plaintiff is entitled to the judgment.
The execution took place in Abuja as a result of an experte motion which had prayed the court for some reliefs and subsequent order of the FCT High Court on the 30th of June, this year.
