President Bola Tinubu has described Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), as one of Nigeria’s greatest gifts and a “spiritual fortress” who continually intercedes for the nation.
In a birthday tribute marking Adeboye’s 84th birthday on Monday, March 2, the President praised the cleric’s humility and depth of wisdom, noting that his contributions to national development extend far beyond the pulpit.
Tinubu, alongside First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, celebrated what they described as the grace of stewardship and leadership upon the life of the revered pastor, fondly known as Daddy G.O.
The President and his wife congratulated Adeboye and joined his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, members of the RCCG, and the broader Christian community in thanking God for what they termed an exceptional life of impact that transcends cultures and borders.
They acknowledged the unique leadership role of the renowned clergyman, whose teachings over the past five decades have shaped and transformed lives across generations in Nigeria and beyond.
Tinubu also prayed for continued good health and strength for the octogenarian as he carries on his work in the Lord’s vineyard.
