In a statement, the ministry described her death as a significant loss to Nigeria’s diplomatic community, praising her decades of dedicated service and commitment to advancing the country’s foreign policy objectives.
Ambassador Danladi, who was born in Kaduna State in 1974, graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja before joining the Nigerian Foreign Service in 2001. She rose through the ranks of the ministry and was appointed Ambassador-in-Situ by President Bola Tinubu in 2023.
The ministry said she was “a meticulous and unassuming officer who served the nation with loyalty and distinction,” adding that her commitment to duty remained exemplary throughout her career.
During her years in service, she was posted to several Nigerian diplomatic missions, including Cairo in Egypt, London in the United Kingdom and Madrid in Spain. She was also a Fellow of the National Defence College in Abuja.
“Her professionalism, humility, and devotion to duty earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues, friends, and associates across the Foreign Service,” the ministry stated.
The ministry noted that her passing represents a major loss to the Foreign Affairs Ministry and Nigeria’s diplomatic corps, where she was widely regarded as a dedicated and accomplished diplomat.
It extended condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, associates and the Government of Taraba State, praying for the peaceful repose of her soul and strength for her loved ones during the period of mourning.
