Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, has opened up about her views on loyalty and relationships, revealing that she has never cheated on a partner, nor has she ever ended a relationship because of infidelity.
The Afrobeats superstar made this revelation during a candid conversation on the popular talk show “Spill With Phyna.”
When asked if she had ever been unfaithful in a relationship, Tiwa responded confidently, “No, never. And I have never left someone for cheating.”
According to the “Somebody’s Son” crooner, even in her previous relationships, infidelity was never the reason for a breakup. “I didn’t even leave him; he left me,” she said, explaining that she only walks away when issues such as theft, drug abuse, or other serious personal problems arise.
“Even when they cheat, they’ll come back and apologize. That’s not a deal breaker for me.”
When asked if anyone had ever stolen from her, Tiwa admitted, “Well, indirectly, yes.”
She added that her calm and private personality often allows her partners to get away with certain behaviors, “They get away with it because of my personality. I can’t come online to rant, and when I see them, I can’t react.”
Despite her openness about personal experiences, Tiwa Savage remains one of Nigeria’s most respected female artists, known for her powerful voice, global influence, and chart-topping hits.
