The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has released emergency hotline numbers for Nigerians stranded or facing difficulties in parts of the Middle East as tensions escalate following the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict.
In a notice shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the commission advised Nigerians living in or travelling through affected countries to save the emergency contacts and reach out to the nearest Nigerian diplomatic mission if they require urgent assistance.
NiDCOM explained that the hotlines are meant to provide immediate consular support to citizens who may be impacted by the evolving security situation across the region.

The commission also urged Nigerians in the region to remain vigilant, follow safety instructions issued by local authorities and maintain regular contact with Nigerian diplomatic missions for updates and assistance.
