Serie A newcomers Venezia have reached an agreement with Spanish club Sevilla to sign Nigerian striker Akor Adams in a deal worth €16 million.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles forward has also agreed to personal terms and is expected to complete his move to the Italian club in the coming days, subject to the completion of the necessary formalities.
The transfer will make Adams the most expensive signing in Venezia’s history, highlighting the club’s determination to strengthen its squad ahead of the new Serie A season following its promotion to the Italian top flight.
