Fashion designer and content creator Veekee James has made it clear that her husband can never have a female best friend.
She shared her stance during a recent appearance on the podcast Off the Top with VJ Adams.
When asked whether a man can have a female best friend who is not his wife, Veekee James responded that while it may work for some men, it is not acceptable in her marriage.
She explained that although other men, including the interviewer and even her brother, might be able to maintain such friendships if their partners are comfortable with it, her husband, Femi Atere, was an exception.
According to her, there is “no space” for a female bestie in her marriage. Even if such space existed, she said she would “occupy it fully” with her presence and affection.
