Popular Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has reportedly died at the age of 41 after battling cancer, according to family sources.
The news of his death has thrown fans and colleagues into mourning, especially following months of concern over his absence from the public space and social media.
Family members disclosed that the actor passed away after a prolonged battle with the illness, although further details surrounding his death have yet to be officially released.
Ekubo had remained inactive on social media for several months, sparking speculation among fans about his wellbeing. His last known social media post was made two year’s ago.
Known for his versatility and charisma on screen, the actor built a strong reputation in Nigeria’s film industry with standout performances in several Nollywood productions. He was also admired by fans for his fashion sense and striking appearance.
