Hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly kidnapped five persons at Odo Eku camp in Odo-Eku community in Isin local Government area of Kwara State.
According to reports, the incident happened on Wednesday at about fifteen minutes past one in the morning, when the hoodlums stormed the community firing gunshots.
The five abducted persons were identified as two males and three females and had been moved to an unknown location by the gunmen.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kwara State Command, Superintendent of Police, SP, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, who confirmed the development said the Police, alongside the Vigilante were on a rescue mission.
SP Ejire-Adeyemi explained that further updates on the incident would be communicated to the public as they unfold.
