The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the first batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, but candidates will have to wait to print their official result slips.

In a statement issued by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said that while candidates can now check their scores, the result slip printing feature will be activated at a later date.

“Candidates who sat for the examination can check their scores via SMS for now. Printing of result slips will be enabled in due course,” he said.

The board also warned candidates against falsifying their results, stressing that any attempt to manipulate official messages could attract legal consequences.

“Candidates are strongly cautioned against manipulating the SMS received from the official platform (55019/66019) to fabricate or alter scores with the intent to mislead others, including parents. Such actions constitute a serious criminal offence,” Benjamin added.

The 2026 UTME, which commenced earlier this month, is ongoing at accredited centres nationwide and is expected to conclude next week.
