The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released another batch of results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), continuing its phased announcement of scores nationwide.
In a statement issued by JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed that candidates who participated in the most recent examination can now access their results through the board’s official channels.
“The results for yesterday have been released. Candidates can view their results using the usual process,” Benjamin said.
According to the board, candidates can check their scores by sending “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number they used during registration.
The latest release is part of JAMB’s ongoing daily publication of results since the commencement of the 2026 UTME last week. The nationwide examination, which involves over two million candidates, is being conducted through computer-based testing centres across the country.
JAMB has adopted a batch-by-batch release system, with results published according to each examination day. The board initially released results for candidates who sat the test last week before issuing a combined batch covering multiple days.
However, the earlier release came later than anticipated, sparking frustration among candidates who had expected immediate access to their scores. Many reported waiting through the night without success.
JAMB later apologised for the delay, attributing it to the absence of its chief executive, who was attending an official engagement at the time.
Following the resolution of the delay, the board proceeded with the release of pending results and has continued with subsequent daily updates.
