James Faleke, who played a key role in the APC’s 2022/2023 presidential campaign, returns as Deputy Director-General for election planning, coordination and monitoring.

He will work with zonal directors covering the six geopolitical zones.

The campaign’s legal directorate will be headed by Muiz Banire, SAN, while Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris will coordinate media and strategic communication.

In the statement, President Tinubu urged members of the council to work tirelessly to secure victory for the APC in the 2027 election.

He also asked directorate leaders to bring other party members into the campaign effort, even if they were not formally listed in the council.

President Tinubu said the APC should use the campaign to highlight the achievements of his administration.

“We have delivered on our campaign promises and set our country on a path of economic progress,” he said.

The President added: “As we march into the campaign season, we have many achievements to trumpet, let us confidently showcase our record and inspire hope in every corner of our nation.”

He urged the campaign team to defeat opposition forces seeking to reverse the direction of the country.

The announcement formally sets out the APC’s campaign structure as the party prepares for the 2027 general election.
