Candidates initially assigned to the delisted centres have been promptly rescheduled to alternative centres, with JAMB expressing sincere regrets for any inconvenience this may cause.

27 Impersonators Arrested

Over 900,000 Candidates Successfully Sit for UTME

JAMB Addresses Hijab Restriction Incident at Caleb University

In a separate development, JAMB confirmed it had been alerted to an incident at Caleb University CBT Centre, Lagos, where some candidates wearing hijabs were reportedly restricted. The Board swiftly intervened following reports of the unauthorized action, which has since been condemned by the university’s Vice-Chancellor.

According to the statement, the action was traced to an overzealous security officer acting without official directive. JAMB issued an unreserved apology to the affected candidates and commended both the university management and CBT centre leadership for their prompt response, ensuring no candidate suffered unfair treatment.

Final Note

JAMB reiterated its commitment to maintaining fairness, integrity, and excellence in the conduct of its examinations while urging candidates and officials to adhere strictly to the guidelines set out for the 2025 UTME exercise.
