In a bid to support party members and the less privileged during the Eid festivities, Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has distributed more than 100 cows to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State.

According to a statement by the APC Publicity Secretary in Zamfara, Yusuf Idris Gusau, the cows were handed over by the State APC Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani, who was represented by the party’s Secretary, Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima.

Dr. Matawalle emphasized that the initiative aligns with his annual Ramadan support program, which provides food, meat, and clothing to APC members and other underprivileged individuals to ensure they celebrate Sallah with ease and joy.

The Minister highlighted that extending support during Ramadan is in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and encouraged Muslims to uphold such acts of kindness.

Additionally, he called for continuous prayers for the nation’s troops, who are actively engaged in combatting insurgency and securing the region. He reaffirmed the Ministry of Defence’s commitment to restoring lasting peace in Zamfara and beyond.

On behalf of the party, the APC Publicity Secretary, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, expressed gratitude to the Minister for the generous gesture and assured that all designated beneficiaries would receive their share as instructed.
