Real Madrid maintained their perfect start to the La Liga season under Jose Mourinho with a commanding 4-0 victory over promoted Malaga at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.

Los Blancos raced into a comfortable lead after scoring three goals in just over 10 minutes during the first half, putting the Andalusian visitors under intense pressure.

Jude Bellingham opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a brilliant solo effort. The England international beat two defenders before firing the ball through goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero’s legs.

Bellingham was also involved in Real Madrid’s second goal seven minutes later. After Herrero had denied Kylian Mbappe, Bellingham headed the rebound towards goal, with defender Carlos Puga attempting to clear it off the line. However, the ball bounced off Herrero and into the net for an own goal.

Mbappe added Madrid’s third in the 31st minute, volleying home from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross. The goal was his fourth of the campaign and moved him to the top of La Liga’s scoring chart.

Malaga threatened before half-time, with Rafa Rodriguez hitting the post after a corner was played to him, while Chupe fired into the side netting.

Madrid controlled proceedings after the break and added a fourth goal late in the game. Vinicius Junior set up Arda Guler, who finished from close range to complete the emphatic victory.

The result extended Madrid’s perfect start to the season, with Bellingham, Mbappe and Vinicius all making significant contributions as Mourinho’s side continued their impressive run.
