A 26-year-old Ghanaian lawyer, Sarah Araba Tettey, has died after reportedly collapsing while celebrating Ghana’s victory over Panama at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
According to reports from Ghanaian media outlet Citi Newsroom, the incident occurred on Wednesday at the Standard Hostel in Bomso, a private hostel located near Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Tettey, an alumna of KNUST’s Faculty of Law, was said to have been watching the match with friends when she suddenly collapsed during post-match celebrations in Bomso.
