Veteran Nigerian singer and activist, Charly Boy, has shared insights into how he and his wife, Diane Oputa, have sustained their marriage for 48 years, describing discipline, forgiveness and humility as key ingredients for a successful union.
Speaking during a recent interview on Yanga FM, the entertainer, whose real name is Charles Oputa, said marriage requires constant effort and a willingness to overlook faults in order to maintain peace and stability in the relationship.
According to him, couples must learn to forgive one another and exercise self-discipline, noting that no marriage can thrive without patience and understanding.
