A man who identifies himself as the manager of Nigerian social media personality GehGeh has announced the end of their professional relationship, accusing his former employer of betraying his trust.
In a viral video circulating online, the man dismissed speculation that GehGeh’s recently surfaced wedding was staged for social media content, insisting that the marriage was genuine.
According to him, he has known GehGeh since 2008 and was genuinely pleased to learn that he had gotten married. However, he alleged that about three years ago, GehGeh advised him to leave his wife despite their marriage being stable.
He claimed he followed the advice, moved out of the home he shared with his wife, and was later shocked to discover through videos shared on Instablog and other social media platforms that GehGeh had secretly married without informing him.
“He did not even tell me. I only found out online after seeing videos announcing that GehGeh had gotten married,” he said.
Announcing his resignation as GehGeh’s manager, the man accused the social media personality of deception.
“From today, I am no longer GehGeh’s manager. That young man is deceptive. He has ruined my life,” he said.
