Gunmen have killed six persons including the driver of a commercial car travelling from Takum Local Government Area to Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State. The incident occurred at Sai community, a border area of Benue State overstretching into Takum LGA of Taraba State. The chairman of the Takum council John Ali confirmed the incident on Monday. Armed men who invaded the Ikobi community of Apa Local Government Area in Benue State, have reportedly killed an Internally Displaced Person (IDP).   Villagers told Daily Trust that the deceased who relied on farming to cater for his family, was forced out of his village alongside other relatives after the armed invaders unleashed terror in their vicinity. Gunmen Kill One, Kidnap Seven On Lagos-Ibadan Highway

Some gunmen dressed in military uniform allegedly kidnapped seven persons along the Fidiwo axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday just as one person was shot dead while escaping the attack.
