Former journalist Lauren Sánchez has revealed she would gladly welcome another child with her husband of less than a year, Jeff Bezos, despite already being a mother of three.
The 56-year-old made the disclosure during an interview with The New York Times, where she expressed enthusiasm about the idea of expanding her family.
“I would have another one tomorrow. Tomorrow,” Sánchez said, adding, “I would have a baby tomorrow.”
However, a spokesperson later clarified that she is not currently expecting a child with Bezos, 62.
Sánchez has three children from previous relationships. She shares her eldest son, Nikko, with former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, and has two children—Evan and Ella—with her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell.
Bezos, on the other hand, has four children—three sons and a daughter—with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, whose family life has largely remained private.
Sánchez also spoke fondly about her marriage to Bezos, whom she married in June 2025 in a lavish ceremony in Venice.
“I talk about everything with him. Everything! Jeff is my best friend, and I don’t say that lightly,” she said.
She further addressed her long-standing friendships with celebrities, including Kris Jenner and Leonardo DiCaprio, noting that her relationship with DiCaprio dates back decades.
“People act like he’s my new friend. No, I’ve known Leo since I was 25,” she added.
