Ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, the Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 590 personnel across the state to ensure public safety and the protection of property.
In a statement issued in Gusau, the state capital, through the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Umar Mohammad M., the State Commandant, Sani Mustapha, emphasized the agency’s commitment to maintaining peace and order during the festivities.
According to Mustapha, NSCDC officers have been strategically stationed at various Eid prayer grounds across all 14 local government areas to prevent security threats and facilitate a smooth celebration for residents.
He further reassured the public of the NSCDC’s dedication to professionalism and consistency in safeguarding lives and property, not just during Eid but beyond.
