The Managing Director of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, has commended President Bola Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to education and youth empowerment under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a congratulatory message marking the President’s 73rd birthday, Sawyerr highlighted Tinubu’s dedication to eradicating illiteracy and fostering national progress through education. A prime example of this vision, according to Sawyerr, is the establishment of NELFUND, which is reshaping Nigeria’s educational landscape by providing interest-free student loans. Since its launch, the initiative has seen over 500,000 students register, demonstrating the administration’s resolve to invest in human capital development.
